Talk about giving your skating a boost! We're not talking about rocket science here, we're talking about skating with more oomph. And oomph is what skaters got more of at the Eddy Matzger Access to Speed Workshop in San Diego, California, March 30 - April 1, 2001. Want palm trees? You got 'em! Cool ocean breezes? Check! And a smooth lot bigger than big for learning all about skating? Not a problem! Come on down to the boat dock next to sea world and see for yourself what this workshop thing is all about! You'll see talent unbridled. Plenty of skaters who had so much fun the first time around they came back for more! And newbies with more gumption than a moose in the city, ready to tear it up and not about to take any guff from anybody. Participants thanked the workshop for "awakening a new sense of confidence and 'go-for-it-ness'". Some were "able to apply some of the principles of balance and enthusiasm from the workshop to metamorphose from a somewhat timid "do I really want to be here" rider into a gung-ho and quicklyimproving SHREDDER!" Others came right out and detailed in plain language what the workshop meant to them. "Skating is SO MUCH FUN and getting better at this wonderful sport is very exciting to me! I am fired up!" Talk about fired up. Everybody received as a bonus great gifts from TWINCAM bearings, Explore wheels, Salomon, Transpack, Wigwam, and Raymond Verdaguer art screened onto shirts by Bobward Flynn. skatecentral |
