As if a whole day of skating weren't enough. There was enough gas left in the tank come 5:30 pm on Sunday to embark on a rigorous set of dryskating and jumping exercises. Skaters threw moderation to the wind and went all-out as they bounded sky-high to improve their explosive strength. That's what you need most for accelerations and sprints. Here we're doing perhaps the most difficult jump of them all: one-legged knee-to-chest jumps! Ouch!
