Want to learn how to motor faster on skates? You came to the right place then! The Eddy Matzger Access to Speed Workshop rolled through the motor city on May 25-27, 2001, in Detroit, MI. Newbies and some of the US's original skating stock came out to rock their world with huge heel carves that propelled their skating to thrilling new speeds. Participants also had a chance to practice plenty of stopping maneuvers destined to give them newfound confidence. Dave Pawlak and Visteon provided heaven on earth for learning how to skate, with a perfect combination of acres of supreme pavement as well as awesome indoor conference, lecture and aerobics spaces. No one hardly noticed that the skies opened up every now and again during the workshop, but not to worry, everybody proved to themselves that skating in the rain is entirely possible and can be tons of fun too! It didn't hurt at all that TWINCAM bearings, Explore wheels, Salomon, Transpack, Wigwam socks, and Raymond Verdaguer all provided goodies that enhanced an already all-good thing. skatecentral |
