For such a friendly bunch of skaters, these skaters took off in the pretend 10K race like a pack of rabid dogs. It was a humdinger of a race. Corbett started the race with a slim 6 second advantage over Paul. He hung back for 3 of the 5 laps, helping his teammates with a generous draft, but slipped 15 seconds back. Corbett bolted and was able to make up ten seconds to preserve his overall victory by the most slender of margins! A thrilling cap to an exciting weekend. For his he-man efforts, Corbett scored a pair of Salomon TR racing skates! Congratulations Corbett!
