The Eddy Matzger Workshop, March 18-20, 2005, in Atlanta, GA, was filled with almost two dozen sharp skaters, who made even the hawks jealous with the way they preyed on the double push.

There were new daddies and enduro skaters, fixtures on the skate scene and newbies who had simply stumbled onto the workshop over the internet. And given the workshop's 10 year history and penchant for exceeding even the highest expectations, everybody may have left sore but no one left disappointed.

"You were amazing!" said one skater, "This was my first fomral instruction and I can't believe all the things you can do on skates!"

"I finally GOT so much this time!" said a second timer, thrilled at having made so many breakthroughs and bent on repeating again next year.

The Georgia Tech parking deck may have caused a hematoma or two, and reduced some digits on certain skaters (including the teacher) to bloody stumps, but no trauma was too great to ruin the ebullient mood that characterized the entire weekend. TWINCAM, Transpack, Zephyr, Paul and Cindy, Bobward, and Mike the workshop monkey all made the workshop fun for all for the hundred and umpteenth straight time. Thanks for keeping the streak alive!
