![]() A new crop of peachy skaters full of budding talent came out for the Access to Speed Workshop in Atlanta, Ga., April 12-14, 2002. The magic of Atlanta is that it keeps producing skaters just as sure as buds on the peach trees blossom in spring. The quality of these rolling peaches was so stellar, you would not believe your eyes. In fact, one good peach begat another like a good yawn travels. If one peach had any doubt as to how to grow on skates, it had only to look at another and eyesmosis did the rest. Did you know that peaches have engines? Big ones. There inside the pit every peach had an internal furnace that burned brightly and steadily, fueled by the desire to be the sweetest, fastest peach out there. Big peaches Paul and Cindy hosted the workshop and ensured the most propicious growing conditions for all the little peachlets. They pleased the peachlets by securing the dream parking deck for the ideal peach improvement project. Every peach had its own special flavor. Each variety improved upon its past stock by incorporating newfound prowess into the flesh, every peach reaching for the sun with soft fuzzy skin in a myriad of comely blush tones. Salomon skates, TWINCAM bearings, Explore wheels, Wigwam socks, Transpack, Raymond Verdaguer designs, and Bobward Flynn all made for a peachy-keen workshop. Thanks! www.skatecentral.com |
