Cooper is such a complex skating personality that an injustice would be done trying to introduce him in anything but a doctoral length dissertation. Suffice it to say that Cooper is the true grandfather of modern inline skating in America, and is ultimately the progenitor of this very site. Cooper has been present at nearly every seminal moment in the history of the sport, including this momentous photo at 12,000 feet on Tanzania's Mount Kilimanjaro. See his children everywhere!
