Just when you thought it couldn't get any better in paradise, it just got way better! Every fruit in the basket was bursting with flavor.

Ask any one of the 280 people who skated the Tahiti Inline Marathon and associated events on February 19, 2000, on the island of Moorea. All elements came together with the smooth consistency of Moorean avocados.

Whereas last year there were fewer than a half dozen locals skating the event, this year, there were over a hundred, spiking the event's punchbowl like wild limes.

Wherever you looked, there were happy Tahitian faces, due in large part to Salomon's generosity in donating 50 pair of skates to local skating organizations. Rambutan from heaven.

With the speed of a dropping breadfruit, the marathon smashed all records for participation. To date, the 2000 Tahiti Inline Marathon was French Polynesia's largest ever sporting event!

Thanks to Claude and Caroline for bringing out the true flavor of the land. You're both the best!
