Eat your heart out Scott Olsen! These skates are true precursers to those which sparked the boom! They are Ving skates, featuring heavy weight frames, single bearing technology, metal hubs, and a thin strip of rubber tire. They were given to me by longtime ice skater and inline skater Kathryn Peterson, one of women on the Cal Cycling Team responsible for my development as a skate racer.
