Artist Raymond Verdaguer created this one-of-a-kind gold-leaf linoleum print in his New York studio on Canal Street with a turn-of-the-century hand printing-press. It hangs in the stairway of my house in Berkeley, CA, and its surface reflects the afternoon sun with real golden rays that remind me as I go out the door that every skate is truly unique.
