The roads on Sumbawa Besar were incredible. Either baby-bottom smooth or bone-jarringly rough, they afforded ample oppotunity to get out and see things, especially in the vicinity of Sumbawa Besar. On a normal commute -- about 10K -- to the "Big City" from my friends' coconut grove, I'd get offered everything, from rides, to mangos, to tea, to overnight stays, to games of tennis. What a dream to vagabond on skates!
