Bayu, 5, ran around all day at the coconut farm with my skates, pushing them around like a toy truck. When he was tired of playing and ready to eat, I'd slap 'em on and skate down the road a posy to get lots of portions of some of the most delicious food I've ever tasted: gambing, goat, nasi, rice, and tempeh, cooked to a crisp in the yummiest spices imaginable.
