Certain areas of Japan were winter wonderlands. Kenji's hometown in Yamagata had fresh snow for snowperson making, and the Fujikyu Highlands Amusement Park at the base of Mt. Fuji had thrill rides and lots of ice. Not only was there a large area for cruising but also a 400 meter oval with a loop-de-loop coaster within!
