Just another day in paradise? No way! Without a doubt the best 6th Annual Tahiti Inline Marathon on November 7, 2004 was the best ever! A multiple loop course meant that you never felt left out even if got left behind and lapped. Made it great to see everybody flying by!

Drums, coconut brassieres, and fetching hip swaggles enticed tourists and calmed nerves with soothing tropical reveries. Flower leis and engraved pearl shells for all, plus dancing talent that makes you want to come back for more and more again and again.

The Tahiti Marathon is so unique because where else can you skate with the natives and get whupped at your own game? And for the first time, skaters were able to enjoy a closed course. The Gods were smiling with the weather too, as all the events got off without a drop of rain falling from the sky.

Thanks to Christopher and Karima from Way Beyond for all their attention and kindnesses, as well as to Illene and John for stoking the event with high-octane help. The Ministry of Sports could only dream of pulling off such a quality event with such modest means!

Start saving folks, NOW! The Tahiti Marathon experience is the best buzz for your skating pleasure, bar none. You'll soon see why there's a 6-timer club that will stay tight for the rest of their lives.
