Into the Bull Ring, Pamplona, Spain, July 9, 2000

Under your own steam penetrate the arena before the last bull rushes in and you'll be penned inside with a couple thousand runners and some very angry bulls.

The bulls will charge pell-mell into the crowd, felling people left and right. Some will manage to regain their feet or jump over the boards to safety, but many others won't be so lucky. Watch out not to get augured into the sandy floor of the ring!

More than 50,000 spectators will go wild with delight every time someone gets drilled or plastered by the bulls. If the people start getting the better of the bull, they'll whistle and boo. Sit in front of the corral as the bull gets released and watch him cleave through the air as he jumps overhead and launches humans.

A field day for disaster voyeurs.
