The Northshore was a big deal up front with the pros. World Class and Pro Elite started in a massive clot of 100 skaters, which thinned out a little bit every time the pace exceeded 30 mph for sustained stretches.

Alternately the pack gave and gave up pursuit of 4 early escapees, which it did in fits and bursts all the way down the highway. When Hyper's Diego Rosero made his signature solo move out of the pack a few miles before Lemon Drop Hill, the top four slots had already been sealed.

TWINCAM's Eddy Matzger, K2/Empire's Remy Chait, and Saab/Salomon's Pascal Briand made a brief getaway over the top of Lemon Drop and down the I-35, only to get engulfed.

Sprinting for top three in the chase pack is still a matter of honor, and Fila secured its fast-twitch placements with not just the overall victory of Baptiste Grandgiraard, but with 6th, 7th, and 8th places as well.

To wow your brain with the speed and depth of the top pros, check out the overall results for the Northshore Inline Marathon.
