A rolling Mardi Gras in Duluth? Yes! For the vast majority, the Northshore Marathon is more about the party and less about the race. All you have to do is skate backwards along the course and you'll see skaters having a grand old time.

Forget about the pros! The waves that follow know how to skate under the influence! In every tunnel on the interstate, spontaneous whoops and hollers can be heard echoing off the walls. Almost there and letting off steam! Now that's what it's all about.

The last little punch uphill is where skating buddies and buddettes have their own little private finish sprints before rolling across the line hand in hand. Best kind of contact for a race like the Northshore Marathon! Thanks for keeping it real!
